Dr. Audrey Moon
For Dr. Audrey Moon, crafting beautiful smiles is the perfect intersection of structural artistry, science, and family legacy.
After spending her childhood in Houston, she moved west to study Architecture at UC Berkeley. However, the pull of home was strong. While she loved the principles of design, a wave of homesickness—and the inspiring example of her parents, both retired Houston dentists—eventually drew her back to Texas. She realized she could beautifully combine her eye for balance and structural design with her love for people in a career that allowed her to work meticulously with her hands.
She returned home to complete both her dental degree and orthodontic residency at the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. Dr. Moon went on to spend nearly 11 years shaping clinical standards as the school's Clinic Director before transitioning her primary focus to private practice. Her love for education remains a cornerstone of her career; she still mentors the next generation of specialists as an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics, collaborating daily with fellow professionals.
Dr. Moon is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Society of Orthodontists, Texas Association of Orthodontists, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.
When she isn't in the clinic or the classroom, Audrey loves capturing the world through a camera lens, traveling to new destinations, and exploring Houston's vibrant culinary scene with her husband.
